Job description

As an Account Manager DACH, you work on expanding the business of VS Food Sales in the German market, with a particular focus on further growth in the retail market. Johnny Doodle's chocolate is already on the shelves and it's up to you to generate more sales in this market. You are also responsible for the introduction of new brands. Your customer portfolio consists of a mix of large and small organizations in food and non-food retail and wholesale. In this role you take the lead in further expanding the collaboration with existing and new customers. In addition, you will also pioneer with the products at drugstores and in the catering industry. At first, you will spend 80 percent of your time acquiring new customers and 20 percent investing in the relationship with existing customers. In addition to the German market, you expand the business in Austria and Switzerland. VS Food Sales is looking for an energetic and results-oriented Account Manager DACH, fluent in German, who will proactively expand the business.

Candidate profile

  • 2+ years of relevant sales experience in FMCG and/or with an A-brand
  • Good understanding of the German language and business culture
  • Passion for food and travel
  • Results-driven and customer focused, good at business and relationship building
  • Enterpreneurial, sales driven, winning mentality, guts
  • Strong communication skills, proactive, independent, connector, team player
  • Good understanding of the English language

Competences

  • An Account Manager who wants to independently expand the business in this market and is fluent in German
  • A candidate who loves to travel, stands their ground, and has a passion for A-brands and food. You know how to create new business

VS Food Sales produces great food for consumers. It all started with the chunky chocolate from the Johnny Doodle brand in 2015, but more brands will follow soon. In addition, the organization produces all kinds of delicious chocolate and confectionery products as a private label.
