Job description

The Key Account Manager accelerates growth in international markets, mainly focusing on the UK. Your key responsibility is to build (new) business and develop existing account relations in this market. You map out markets, spot opportunities and acquire new customers yourself. The UK offers plenty of business opportunities for the hearing protection portfolio as competition is limited. Prior to covid-19, over 40 percent of turnover came from the party and events scene, sleeping solutions came in second place. You start by analyzing the playing field and proactively (re)connect with potential customers. Alpine Hearing Protection is looking for an entrepreneurial and result driven person who wants to take the category of high-end hearing protection to the next level. Excellent knowledge of instore activation and category management is key. You know how to create new business and how to develop business cases that highlight the added value and purpose of the products.  Outstanding advising, presentation and social skills help you to persuade customers. You are willing to take risks and be creative to reach the growth ambitions.

Candidate profile

  • At least 2 years of commercial experience, preferably in FMCG or consumer goods
  • Able to win over customers quickly with good advice
  • Entrepreneurial, eager, driven, inquisitive, willing to take risks
  • International orientation, likes to frequently travel to customers abroad
  • Living in The Netherlands or willing to move there
  • Excellent command of English
