The Head of Sales (International Sales Manager) drives growth with large DIY retailers and home furnishing stores in the Benelux, France and other European countries. With your team of about 45 employees, you are responsible for vital accounts like Adeo, Intergamma, Maxeda and Kingfisher. Together with the Sales Managers in the different countries and the sales team you drive this important part of Trendiy’s business. With a significant part of total turnover you play a crucial role in the success of the total company. You closely work with the retailers on many different topics, including sustainability, omni-channel business, logistics and product development. Trendiy is seeking a strategic and entrepreneurial Head of Sales with a track record in business development and excellent people management skills. As a partner to the clients and an internal leader of innovation, you act as the main category leader and executive-level advisor and sparringpartner.

  • Managing an international team of approximately 45 people

  • 10+ years of relevant international, strategic sales experience, preferably in DIY or home living
  • Understanding large scale retailers, logistics, field sales and shopper marketing
  • Strong negotiation skills and experienced in tenders
  • Track record in leading and growing teams
  • Commercial, energetic, analytical, results-oriented, structured, and curious, trustworthy
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, financial knowledge
  • Fluent in English. Knowledge of French is an advantage
