Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager identifies new business opportunities for the area Western European and Latin America and creates synergy between local teams. In this role you will coordinate a broad scale of (international) projects to improve sales and marketing excellence across business units. You analyze markets, brands, accounts and channels. You’ll find solutions to a variety of questions and issues, either coming directly from the countries or the Area/General Managers. Whether it is about assessing potential clients and target groups, improving sustainability, or optimizing local team structures: you find the right solutions to steer further growth. Also, you proactively identify opportunities or promising enhancements yourself. Storck is looking for a result oriented and analytical Business Development Manager who is curious and reliable. Frequent travelling is part of this job as it is important to personally connect with your colleagues, throughout Western Europe and LatAm.

  • Working in a dynamic position for a top ten player in confectionery worldwide
  • Initiating and pinpointing new business opportunities for local teams
  • Linking pin between local entities and headquarters, closely collaborating with country managers and the Area Manager WE and LatAm
  • Combining analysis with stakeholder management
  • Fulltime job, hybrid working possible
  • Frequent travelling (about every other week)

  • 4+ years of relevant (international) commercial experience in FMCG
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Track record in project management
  • Commercial, self-starter, result oriented, eye for detail, proactive
  • Strong interpersonal skills, persuasive, culture sensitive, inquisitive
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, knowledge of German is a plus
  • Based in The Netherlands with a valid working permit
