The Sales Manager Retail Africa lives and embraces growth, helps accelerate performance and creates value. The focus of the Sales Manager is to develop new business in countries or regions that have been identified as growth regions through solid interpretation of business intelligence and the input of business partners and coworkers in the field. The Sales Manager follows the strategy set by the management team. Main markets now are Ghana, Gabon, Senegal, Equatorial Guinee, Morocco and Kenia.
The Sales Manager develops and improves commercial activities for all types of sales, including sales through licenses and sales through agents on a strategic level. An important goal is to increase the direct sales to retailers. Supply chain operations are therefore also important to oversee, to manage and to remedy whenever necessary. Key aspects are ‘out of the box’ thinking, a roll up your sleeves mentality, relation building, humor and passion.

- Extensive experience in international sales in the FMCG industry
- Expertise in sales of value brands
- Experience with most African markets
- Knowledge of Incoterms
- Affinity with beverages, preferably beer
- Fluent in English and Dutch, a good command of French
