United Dutch Breweries trades a broad range of beer brands in 100 countries worldwide. The company owns, among others, the brands Oranjeboom, Royal Dutch Posthoorn, Breda Bier, Atlas and 3 Horses. They sell those brands to distributors and retailers worldwide. The production of the different brands is outsourced to a number of West European breweries that produce the beer according to their recipes.

Premium

United Dutch Breweries is an export-driven supplier of branded affordable premium beers to retailers and on-and off-trade distributors worldwide. It’s a young company with a long history, headquartered in the Netherlands. In the past, the company was privatized from Anheuser-Busch Inbev by the private equity firm Nimbus. In march 2011 private equity firm Egeria, together with the management, bought the brewers from Nimbus. Then, in February 2015 private equity firm Gimv took over.

Loyal

United Dutch Breweries has loyal customer relationships, some with a tenure of over 25 years. Those relations are developed and maintained by dedicated sales forces with global reach, operating from the offices in the Netherlands and China. The company has a flexible sourcing network through long-standing relationships with Western European brewers. Also, they have a well-established presence in Europe and strong growth across Africa, Asia Pacific and the Middle East.The head office is in Breda, the logistics centre is located in Teteringen.

Ownership

The company has been very successful in hiring and developing a team that lives the entrepreneurial spirit and that has a strong sense of ownership.
