Key Account Manager

Job description

The Key Account Manager will lead further growth in either the food or drug channel. Your key responsibilities include defining energizing short term and long-term plans, building category expertise and retailer partnerships. It also entails the creation, negotiation and implementation of the customer plan. You take on full P&L ownership and are an excellent negotiator. Advanced analytical skills are vital to reach the sales and profit targets. You manage account planning, forecasting and trade investment.  With a strong foundation already in place, your focus on continuously perfecting the distribution and listing of products. Strong promotions are also key. Your plans help to set new paths of purchase and empower the local market. Reckitt is looking for a financially driven and analytical Key Account Manager who independently takes control of growing the accounts and likes to invest in valuable long-term relationships. You are a skilled negotiator with a track record in managing P&L of you accounts and closing year deals.

Candidate profile

  • 4+ years of proven successful retail sales experience in FMCG or consumer goods
  • Strong negotiation and commercial skills, able to conduct multi-faceted negotiations at both tactical and strategic level
  • Excellent analytical skills and financial insights
  • Strong P&L knowledge and experience with Nielsen/IRi
  • Flexible, independent, tenacious and resilient
  • Fluency in English and Dutch
