This is your job

The Customer Trade Marketing Manager builds a power partnership with the largest Dutch drug account of Reckitt Benckiser’s Health division. You take the lead in further developing the category in Dutch retail in a solid, year round cooperation with this key retailer. Using data gathered through research and analysis you develop consumer and channel/customer insights and set the appropriate long term strategy across all brands. Your plans drive growth, help to set new paths of purchase and empower the local market. You co-own the account with sales and focus on developing win-win category strategies and vision.

Challenge

Reckitt Benckiser is looking for a Customer Trade Marketing Manager with an entrepreneurial mind set and the ability to challenge and influence decisions. Someone with commercial experience in food or drug that is keen on a close collaboration with the key account to achieve the desired category growth. Solid plans to build the category will be matched with budgets to realize them. Excellent strategic and analytical skills are a must. You lead annual category 4P’s planning and reviews and follow market trends and competition. You also help develop shopper activation plans and champion new product market entries.

Your background

  • 3-5 years of commercial experience in Trade Marketing, Sales or Marketing with customer contact in FMCG and/or food
  • Entrepreneurial, proactive and innovative mind set
  • Excellent communication, strategic skills and stakeholder management
  • Strong channel/category insights experience
  • Excellent command of English and Dutch, French is a plus
