Head of Category Management

The Head of Category Management builds and develops a professional and innovative Category Management department. You build a strong and clear category strategy and vision and incorporate the right toolboxes to advance your team and the company. You give insights and advice to retail and brand owners and make sure the categories grow steadily. The Head of Category Management is responsible for the categories Wellness, Sport and Weight Management and leads two team members. Creating an overview of market opportunities based on market research and data is one of your focus point.
Prinsen Berning Group is looking for a driven and entrepreneurial Head of Category Management who invests in long term relationships with accounts. Someone who actively sells and presents a future proof category vision internally and externally. You have a broad experience in Category Management/Trade Marketing and love to collaborate and share your expertise. Excellent managing and project management skills are required. In cross-functional teams you help to solve product and concept cases. Innovations are constantly being developed and marketed. Strong analytical skills and being result orientated are key in this role. A natural interest in food solutions that support the health and wellbeing of people is a must.

- 5-7 years of Category Management experience
- Degree in marketing
- Excellent multi-tasking skills
- In depth understanding of market research methods and analysis
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Fluent in Dutch and English, German is a plus
