Country Sales Director

The Country Sales Director manages the entire sales organization for the Western European market (Nordics, UK and The Netherlands). You ensure healthy and steady growth by continuously improving sales, and acquiring new clients while focusing on profitability increase. Currently the main focus is on international retailers. You build, lead, inspire and coach the sales team and coordinate a number of key projects. Creating new business opportunities along the way is another focal point. You actively contribute to improve internal processes and applications. Innovations from the local markets are encouraged.
Partner in Pet Food wants to hire a charismatic and pro-active Country Sales Director with a proven track record in managing a team and a broad, international career in sales, including export. You have a strong vision on sales and know the retail market well. Striving for excellent execution is what you live for and know how to achieve. An understanding of marketing research techniques and the ability to develop and launch sales programs with emphasis on new selling propositions are a must have. You lift your team to a higher level and inspire them with your can do approach and strategic choices. An internationally orientated, fast growing business suits you perfectly.

- At least 10 years of sales experience in an international FMCG environment
- Several years of sales management experience and strong leadership skills
- Understanding of marketing techniques
- Highly developed negotiation skills and successful track record in export
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Pro-active, diplomatic, open minded and straight forward
- Fluent in Dutch and English
