Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager is responsible for the expansion of the private label business for the Western European market. You develop new sales opportunities and advise internal and external stakeholders about product introductions and concepts. Strategic plans and giving excellent advise are key in this analytical role. You cooperate with important private label accounts to improve and advance the business. You manage a Trade Marketer who is responsible for a large part of the analyses. Currently the main focus is on international retailers and the green channel.
Partner in Pet Food wants to hire an assertive and independent Business Development Manager with a pro-active mind-set. You have a keen eye for opportunities and know how to convince accounts of innovative ideas and concepts. Experience in trade marketing or business development is a must have to be successful. A good understanding of the international retail markets and timing is just as important. An internationally orientated, fast growing business suits you perfectly.

- 4-5 years of experience in trade marketing or business development in an international FMCG environment
- Experience with data (Nielsen/GfK/Kantar)
- Management ability
- Excellent communication skills
- Pro-active, open minded and straight forward
- Fluent in Dutch and English
