The Business Development Manager is a strategic business partner for a variety of (retail) clients throughout Europe. You sell a broad portfolio of private label beauty products and build and maintain strong partnerships to grow your clients’ objectives, supporting them as if you are an extension of their teams. You know business development like the back of your hand and excel at prospecting and acquiring new business. ‘No’ is not an answer you accept, as you are driven to boost sales performance through the roof. Because you know all about the latest trends in the beauty industry you inspire and surprise your clients and are welcomed as a highly appreciated advisor. Orchard is looking for a creative and energetic pro who takes on full responsibility to manage and grow the accounts. You have superior interpersonal skills to uncover the essence of your clients wishes and deliver great customer service. An existing network in beauty is vital to be successful in this job.

Candidate profile

  • At least 5 years of experience with business development, preferably in private label and beauty products
  • Knowhow of product development within the beauty industry
  • Excellent negotiator and relationship builder
  • Superior commercial drive, entrepreneurial, strategic, pro-active, hands-on, go-getter
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, team player
  • Fluent in English
