The Sr. Regional Financial Planning & Analysis Controller – Europe is responsible for all aspects of financial planning, analysis, forecasts, cash flow and improvement plans. You will support the company in their new European Region set up and strategic growth. You provide clarity of business direction to key stakeholders to facilitate sound decision making and define milestones. This role will also provide strong financial support, challenge and analysis for all business initiatives, including marketing, investments/Capex, Opex, etc. It is key to continuously drive improvement in all areas to meet the changing needs of the business.
Verkade is looking for a dynamic Regional FP&A Controller with strong leadership and change management skills. Someone with the right experience in finance to lead regional process planning, manage short and long term plans, the annual budget and consolidated (monthly) reporting. You will coordinate internal and external teams (for instance commercial, marketing and supply chain) regarding FP&A matters to ensure complete and aligned planning outputs delivered OTIF with the highest standards. You are agile to be able to rapidly adapt to adjustments and changes. You will develop and project the reporting package for top management and, as a part of that role, you will be actively involved in the development of a new reporting tool for the region. Excellent communication skills are a must since you are an important liaison for a number of stakeholders.

- 5-10 years of relevant experience in finance, preferably in a multinational, FMCG environment
- 1-3 years managerial experience
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills
- HBO/ WO- education in accounting (and control) or business studies
- Profound knowledge of English
