Marketing Communications Manager
Take the lead in all marketing communication strategies for the EMEA region.
As Marketing Communications Manager you take the lead in all marketing communication strategies for the Carpets/Workplace EMEA division at Tarkett/Desso. You are passionate about and skilled in PR and have a keen eye for media opportunities. Desso challenges this Marcoms Manager to find creative and smart ways to translate marketing plans into great communication initiatives throughout the EMEA region, targeting B2B customers and end users.
You are an experienced hands-on manager and know just how to inspire, coach and lead your team of three. Strong communication and people skills are necessary to take your department to the next level. You provide the marcom strategy and tactics, but also love to join your team to execute your ideas. This role is responsible for marketing communication in all EMEA countries and requires frequent contact with various local PR and communication agencies.
Informing and influencing internal and external stakeholders is an important task, also internationally. You liaise with key business partners across the EMEA region to maximise the effects of your efforts and communication strategies. Because you deal with a lot of different countries and local plans it is vital that you have excellent project and people management skills and can work autonomously in a dynamic environment. You make sure all ideas fit the Desso overall marketing strategy. You are proactive and have a can do mentality.
You feel at home in the B2B world of visual design, photography and architecture. You like to stay involved in the execution of your communication plans and make good use of your excellent copywriting skills. Developing concepts for online, social media, brochures, trade fairs and events is part of the job, as is writing and editing press releases. You make sure all marcom tools are up to date and available on time for launches.
A minimum of 7 years in B2B marketing with a main focus on communication and PR is required. Corporate experience is preferred. Excellent PR, communication and copywriting skills are a must, as is an eye for detail and working accurately. Proven leader and influencer with strong people skills. Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and verbally. International work experience is a plus.
