Trade & Consumer Marketeer

Job description

The Trade & Consumer Marketeer raises maximum awareness for the brands and products of Barilla and Wasa among consumers in The Netherlands. Your main focus is to establish Barilla in the Dutch market and to continue the path to leadership for Wasa. You analyze the performance of the categories by monitoring ATL and BTL initiatives of the brands and its competitors to identify business development potential. You also coordinate and execute various local activity plans to increase market penetration and market shares. This includes defining the optimal promotional strategy at customer level, adapting available media campaigns and new product launch initiatives, all in close collaboration with the rest of the marketing team You will ensure P&L delivery for an allocated portfolio. All local plans are in line with the Benelux objectives and global guidelines. Barilla is looking for an analytical and autonomous Trade & Consumer Marketeer who brings fresh ideas to grow the local business. Your insights and analyses help to ‘crack the code’ to increase local performance immensely.

Candidate profile

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in trade marketing, marketing (consumer and business), category management and/or a market research agency
  • Analytical
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to autonomously lead projects
  • Good communicative and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter, autonomous, pro-active, curious, problem solving skills, agile mindset
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
