Job description

The Workforce Management International Lead will shape the future of Action’s workforce management processes and store productivity. You will optimize the operation by implementing new tools and systems and streamline all processes related to WFM and Productivity in over 1600 stores. You are the owner of the international in-store labour productivity model and key processes like store planning, central budgeting and volume forecasting. You ensure the optimal employee mix and planning is in place to minimize labour cost and drive efficiency. To ensure a smooth day-to-day store operation you act as a link between the country teams and the central departments. This role involves calculating accurate weekly and yearly volume and labour forecasts (hours). You will lead and coach a team of 3, that will grow to 5 in the near future. Action is looking for a Workforce Management International Lead with the capacity to bring planning and forecasting to the next level. You cooperate with all kinds of stakeholders and are confident to take charge and be a critical player and leader.

Candidate profile

  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in workforce management, with at least 3 years in a senior role
  • Knowledge of Kronos WFM or a similar system is a must, excellent Excel and calculation skills
  • Experience in retail and/or system suppliers is an advantage
  • Proven leadership skills and leading a team
  • Excellent communicative skills, good in managing stakeholders on all levels, team player
  • No-nonsense mentality, pragmatic, result driven, optimistic
  • Fluent in English (speaking and writing). Other European languages are a plus
