Head of Store Operations
Optimize the operational business model at fast growing international retailer.
The Head of Store Operations secures and improves the European store operational business model. You support and challenge the different European countries and the different group departments on achieving operational and commercial excellence. With a constant focus on process optimisation the daily operations are improved and become more efficient, commercial, customer focused and employee friendly. You are the link between headquarters and operations. Action is looking for an experienced, analytical and inspiring Head of Store Operations to lead four teams of specialists that are focussed on either store processes, store projects, stock loss or productivity. It is up to you to create the store operations long term strategy. You prioritize and make firm decisions without losing your focus. You initiate projects and you are a sparring partner for general management regarding the operational consequences of strategic decisions. A background in either consultancy or project management is necessary. The Head of Store Operations should be flexible, open minded and have excellent international communication skills with internal and external stakeholders on all levels. Previous experience with change management in a highly demanding organisation is a big plus. You know how to inspire and persuade people to follow your lead. It is important that you feel at home in an internationally oriented organisation that likes to keep things as easy as possible.
You are a real problem solver. You have at least 10 years of experience in project/process management in retail store operations and/or project management at a consultancy firm. Proven in people management and change management with excellent international communication skills. Fluent in Dutch and English.
